Mercedes-Benz is developing new technologies to transform the windshield into a holographic screen. An integrated projector in the dashboard sends images onto a transparent film with holographic optical elements, allowing navigation information, driving data, and multimedia content to be displayed without distracting the driver. The system could show different information to the driver and passenger. The German company is also working on LED displays integrated into the glass and programmable power converters for electric cars, capable of managing the energy of individual battery cells. These solutions are still in development and do not have a debut date for production models.
